Eric G. Sammy has 39 years Aviation experience and served with leading legacy carriers and private airlines in Singapore, Malaysia, India and the UAE.

He started his career in Singapore with Malaysia-Singapore Airlines (MSA) as a cabin crew and continued his flying career with Malaysia Airlines after the two countries went separate ways to establish their own flag carriers

Flying as a line crew for 14 years he moved up the ranks from line crew to In-flight Supervisor and later Training/Check Executive, a position lasting 14 years which involved Crew Training and Crew Performance Management . He was on the MAS interview panelist for cabin crew recruitment exercises. As a Trainer/Instructor in the training academy in Kelana Jaya, he has trained and qualified cabin crew for Cabin Crew Basic, Aircraft Type conversions Supervisor upgrading and Soft Skills for Frontliners

Track Record: He was amongst key personnel in MAS to co-ordinate the planning and construction of our B747,B737,A330,and F27 mock-up systems to ensure their capabilities matched the crew training needs. he also successfully accomplished the design and upgrade of cabin crew training modules, manuals,computer assisted training for in-flight sales training and the Company –wide Customer Service Excellence Training Initiative.

Whenever new aircraft induction were planned, he was a member of the projects team to coordinate crew requirements,ie of new cabin operating systems of the aircraft which also included pre-delivery acceptance inspection in Boeing or Airbus Facilities and to be part of the aircraft delivery team

After serving 14 years with the Malaysia Airlines Academy, He opted for early retirement to join Jet Airways, then a fledging domestic private carrier in India ( now International) in the capacity of In-flight Training Manager.

Subsequently when Jet Airways wanted to be accredited with the ISO 9001 Certification and he was assigned to be the Quality Assurance Manager, to establish and coordinate the Quality framework, the crew training and the management of the processes and Audits Our In-Flight Services (cabin crew department)was successfully awarded the ISO 9001 certification
